Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 were considered royalty this year at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con as Marvel unveiled phase 3 of their epic cinema lineup. Heading each panel for Marvel's cinematic universe included Chris Pratt, Kurt Russell, Michael B. Jordan, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Zoe Saldana, Kevin Feige, James Gunn, Lupita Nyong'o, Chadwick Boseman, Zendaya, Jon Watts, Tom Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch,
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has confirmed the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a "five-year plan" for what is to come after 'Avengers: Endgame'.
Now that comic book movies have almost taken over mainstream media both DC Films and Marvel Studios have a stacked year ahead. DC Films, now spearheaded by Geoff Johns, is releasing 3 films in 2017 including Lego Batman, Wonder Woman, and Justice League. Marvel Studios, still owned by Disney, is also releasing 3 films in 2017 with Gaurdians of the Galaxy Vol.2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnarok.
