Britain Plans To Have First 'National Album Day'

Britain is going to have its first “National Album Day” this upcoming fall. According to Reuters, various events will be organized by industry players and BBC Music. Organizers hope this day will allows music fans to celebrate annually this type of format. In fact, this year marks 70 years since the release of the first vinyl LP. Fans are being asked to play their favorite album “in full” the day of, October 13th.
