Judge In Trump Defamation Case Calls For Deposition

Description

A judge in New York stated both parties involved in a defamation lawsuit against President Donald Trump should be deposed. According to Judge Jennifer Schecter, a discovery and deposition deadline has been set for Jan. 31, 2019. The lawsuit was filed by Summer Zervos, a former contestant on The Apprentice, against Trump. Zervos publicly accused Trump of sexual misconduct during his campaign for the presidency. After Trump publicly refuted her claims, calling them phony allegations, Zervos filed the defamation suit.
