Kanye West has recently opened up about being bipolar. In his song, 'Yikes,' he raps "That's my bipolar shit. That's my superpower, ain't no disability." He also has revealed in interviews that he believes his disorder helps his creativity. He also revealed that he was diagnosed at age 39. He also is starting to advocate for mental health among all Americans. Stating that people without the privilege and money he has, have a more difficult time. He believes mental health should thought of differently in the US.
