According to Politico Barrasson said a Republican-controlled Senate should not expect an easy pathway to confirmation. "It's not going to be a garden party," he said. Barrasso said Biden's nominees will have to "run the gauntlet" towards confirmation. He said Biden's selections resembled a "third term of the Obama administration."
