Here’s How Much Some Royal Wedding Gift Bags Are Going for on eBay

Several guests from Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s Saturday wedding are apparently looking for some cold hard cash. CNBC recently noted that more than 30 auctions for the souvenir gift bags were listed on eBay. The prices were ranging from $150 to about $12,000. The goodie bags were handed out to the 1,200 people who received invitations to gather outside St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. They were not given to the 600 close friends and family who watched the ceremony from inside the chapel. The tote bags feature an oversized chocolate coin, shortbread, a water bottle, a magnet and a 20% off coupon to a local gift shop. Some guests may be trying to turn a profit, but several sold their bags with the intention of giving the proceeds to charity.
