Business Insider reports world-famous Portuguese soccer star and mega-gazillionaire Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for the coronavirus. Business Insider reports the Portuguese Football Federation said the 35-year-old is 'doing well, without symptoms, and in isolation.' After Ronaldo, who plays as a forward for Juventus, tested positive, his teammates all took new tests and received negative results. Ronaldo brought in $109 million in 2019. According to Forbes, that makes him the second-highest-paid athlete in the world, behind only Lionel Messi. After nine seasons with Real Madrid, Ronaldo signed a four-year deal in 2018 with Italian powerhouse Juventus. That banks him a sweet $64 million a year.
Taylor Swift has topped Forbes magazine's list of the World's Highest-Paid Celebrities, followed by Kylie Jenner and Kanye West.
Kendall Jenner has topped Forbes' World's Highest Paid Models List 2017 knocking Gisele Bundchen, who has held the number one spot on the annual ranking s list for 15 years since 2002.
Beyonce has been named Forbes' highest-paid woman in music for this year after she raked in $105 million from June 2016 until June 2017.
Madeira airport was renamed in honour of Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo, at the ceremony, on his home island of Madeira, Wednesday, together with the unveiling of a bust of the footballer. Ronaldo expressed words of thanks, stating, "I say that these tributes should be made while the honoured people are alive, like in my case. And for that I thank the regional government President, for having the courage to stand up for his idea." Both the Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa and President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa were in attendance. Football fans have taken to social media mocking the bust of the footballer questioning its likeness.
