The new Opel Insignia GSi Sports Tourer offers everything that sporty drivers wish for: the sharp station wagon can now also be powered by the engine tailored for the Opel flagship, the 154 kW/210 hp two-liter BiTurbo diesel with powerful torque of 480 Nm (official fuel consumption 2.0 BiTurbo according to the New European Driving Cycle: urban 8.9 l/100 km, extra-urban 6.1 l/100 km, combined 7.3 l/100 km, official specific CO2 emissions combined 192 g/km). The sixth-generation Opel Corsa's all-new engine portfolio aims to offer customers an ideal balance between efficiency and an engaging drive. Compared with the current power units, the new engines return significantly reduced fuel consumption and emissions while retaining similar power outputs.The improvements begin straight away with the base 55kW (75hp) 1.2 - NEDC combined fuel consumption is 4.1 l/100km. This is a substantial improvement in comparison to the current 1.2 model with 51kW/70hp and its NEDC combined consumption of 5.9-5.6 l/100km and 134-128g/km CO2.Higher performance is supplied by the award-winning, three-cylinder, direct-injection turbocharged engine family (Engine of the Year 2015-2018), also with 1.2-litres displacement. The all-aluminium engines produce 74kW (100hp) or 96kW (130hp). With the 74kW (100hp) engine, the new Opel Corsa needs 4.4-4.2 l/100km NEDC combined. The 1.4-litre predecessor, also with 74kW (100hp) consumed 5.8-5.4 l/100km combined according to NEDC (WLTP: 6.7-6.5 l/100km, 151-146g/km CO2). Even with the most powerful 96kW (130hp) version, which has no equivalent in the current Corsa range, the preliminary fuel consumption and emissions figures remain moderate.

The best-selling small car, which recently celebrated its world premiere at the 2023 IAA Mobility in Munich, impresses with its new styling including the characteristic Opel Vizor brand fascia at the front and the confidently placed nameplate at the rear. The best-selling small car of 2021 and 2022 in Germany and the United Kingdom will be at dealerships as of October.State-of-the-art technologies make the drive more relaxed. The optional fully digital cockpit – based on the Snapdragon Cockpit Platform from Qualcomm Technologies – features a new intuitive infotainment system with colour touchscreens up to 10 inches in size. A brisk start from traffic lights and a sporty top speed are guaranteed. From a standing start, the five-door sports hatchback accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds; a top speed of up to 235 km/h is possible (135 km/h purely electrically). And thanks to the 12.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Astra GSe can cover up to 64 kilometres locally emission-free according to WLTP.In addition, the GSe newcomers set the new chassis benchmark for integration and feedback to the driver. In the Astra comparison, the GSe is designed to be even more agile and precise. The chassis has been lowered by 10 millimetres. The steering, suspension and brakes respond more directly to any command from the driver. The KONI FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) technology enables different damping characteristics for precise handling and high comfort depending on the situation.
