Mercedes-Benz rolled out its new A-Class to the 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and showed off its new Mercedes-Benz User Experience, or MBUX, smart multimedia system. The MBUX combines a futuristic display, Optical Finger Navigation, and voice controls with a high-level computing package, including 8GB of RAM, two different Nvidia graphics cards, and an AI recommendation system.

RoboChef, a restaurant which opened in December in the capital of Iran, allows diners to get a restaurant experience that's heavy on technology and light on misunderstanding. The restaurant features multi-touch smart tables that allow customers to choose their dishes down to the smallest detail. The food is then served by a robotic conveyor belt directly to each customer's table and guided by artificial intelligence.
It's finally here, a device which can translate up to 80 different languages in real time. It's called Travis the Translator and it instantly translates many different languages on the go. The pocket sized device learns with the help of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Travis the Translator was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show Asia, which is taking place in Shanghai. It can translate in 20 languages offline and over 80 languages online processing the user's voice within just two seconds.

Although some of the robots were nothing more than little entertainment gadgets, it's becoming clear that robots will form an integral part of our future. One Chinese delivery service has found a mesmerising high-tech way to reduce on labour and maximise on efficiency, putting scores of robots to work to sort over 200,000 parcels and packages a day. Chinese delivery service Shentong Express Tracking employs dozens of yellow-topped robots on fixed tracks in their vast storerooms to pick up and drop off parcels to their proper locations based on data provided by the parcel barcode.
