The Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence May Get A Budget Boost From Congress

According to a report by Geek.com, Congress may be about to give SETI, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, a boost in financial backing for the first time in 25 years. A new proposal in the US House might give SETI 10 million-dollar in additional funding to "search for technosignatures, such as radio transmissions, in order to meet the NASA objective to search for life’s origin, evolution, distribution, and future in the universe.
