The new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid in Moonlight Blue Metallic Driving Video

Description

Porsche is continuing to implement its performance-focused hybrid strategy in the new Cayenne: with electrical engine performance enhanced by over 43 per cent and around 30 per cent more battery capacity in comparison to its predecessor, the new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid offers the best driving dynamics in its class and maximum efficiency. A powerful three-litre V6 engine (250 kW/340 hp) combines with a virtually silent electric engine (100 kW/136 hp) to generate system power of 340 kW (462 hp). The maximum torque of 700 Nm is already available just above the idling speed. The boost strategy matches that of the 918 Spyder supercar, just like in the new hybrid Panamera models. The Cayenne's plug-in hybrid drive enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and a maximum speed of 253 km/h. The new Cayenne E-Hybrid can drive up to a distance of 44 kilometres and speed of 135 km/h on electricity alone, producing no local emissions. The average consumption of the all-wheeler in the New European Drive Cycle (NEDC), depending on the set of tyres used, is 3.4 - 3.2 l/100 km fuel and 20.9 - 20.6 kWh/100 km of electricity.

  • The new Porsche Cayenne GTS Coupé in Moonlight blue Driving Video

Dynamism and exclusivity together: with the Porsche Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupé, Porsche is supplementing its SUV line-up with two new models designed with superb driving performance in mind. Typically for the GTS models, the powertrain plays a particularly important part: instead of the 3.6-litre V6 biturbo engine from its predecessor, a V8 heart now beats once more under the bonnet of the Porsche Cayenne GTS. With an output of 338 kW (460 PS) and torque of 620 Nm, the four-litre biturbo engine offers significantly improved performance in all disciplines. Both GTS models sprint from 0 - 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds with the Sport Chrono package and have a top speed of 270 km/h. A lowered performance-oriented chassis, a unique design and enhanced equipment round off the new GTS package. With the Porsche-developed four-litre V8 biturbo engine from the flagship Cayenne model, the new Porsche Cayenne GTS now delivers 14 kW (20 PS) and 20 Nm more than its predecessor. This leads to significantly improved performance, something which applies equally to the new Cayenne GTS Coupé: the standard sprint from 0 - 100 km/h is now 0.6 seconds faster than before with the Sport Chrono package. Top speed has been increased by eight km/h. At the same time, great importance has been placed on efficiency. Among other things, this has been achieved by the optimally matched Tiptronic S eight-speed automatic transmission, adaptive cylinder control, direct petrol injection with central injector position and an intelligently designed thermal management system. According to the NEDC combined cycle, the sportiest Cayenne models offer a fuel consumption of 11.4 to 11.2 l/100 km.

Porsche is launching another powerful Cayenne Coupé variant: the vehicle is now available to order and will arrive at German dealerships at the end of July 2019. The 2.9-litre V6 engine featuring twin turbocharging and developing 324 kW (440 PS) is at the heart of the new Cayenne S Coupé. The maximum torque of 550 Nm guarantees powerful acceleration. The SUV coupé accelerates from a standing start to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds in combination with the standard Sport Chrono Package. This figure drops to 4.9 seconds with the three optional lightweight sports packages. The top speed is 263 km/h.Prices for the Porsche Cayenne S Coupé start at EUR 99,657 including VAT and country-specific equipment. In addition to the Sport Chrono Package, the standard equipment includes speed-sensitive Power Steering Plus, 20-inch alloy wheels, Park Assist at the front and rear including reversing camera and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).Porsche is extending the model range with the new Cayenne S Coupé. The Cayenne Coupé with 250 kW (340 PS) and the Cayenne Turbo Coupé with 404 kW (550 PS) will already be available at dealerships from the end of May 2019. The highlights of the Coupé include sharper proportions with a unique rear section, an adaptive rear spoiler, two different roof concepts and a rear seat bench with the characteristics of individual seats, with a sitting position that is lowered by 30 millimetres compared with the Cayenne. The vehicle features a 2.16 m2 panoramic fixed glass roof as standard or optionally a contoured carbon roof with typical sports car look.
