GE And Tech Stocks Help Wall Street Rebound

According to Reuters, US Stocks rose on Tuesday. Gains were reported for General Electric and technological stocks, helping Wall Street recover some the losses from the previous day due to escalating global trade tensions. The value of GE stocks jumped 7.6 percent, after the company announced that it would sell off its healthcare business, as well as divest its stake in oil services company, Baker Hughes. Monday, the Dow Jones closed below its 200-day moving average for the first time since June 2016, due in large part to conflicting signals from the Trump Administration.
