Twenty wooden statues were discovered at the Peruvian archaeological complex of Chan Chan. The statues date back to around 800 years ago and were discovered during an archaeological dig. Chan Chan is the largest mud city in America, the capital of pre-Inca empire of the Chimu that dominated the Peruvian north coast between the 12th and 14th centuries.

On the second day of funeral rituals following a mass killing at a nursery in Na Klang district, Thailand, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha pays homage to the victims in a temple close to the nursery.
