Melania Trump’s Jacket Sends A Clear Message To Detained Children

Description

One day after her husband signed an executive order to roll back his draconian policy of separating migrant children from their families, Melania Trump boarded a plane to visit the New Hope Children’s Shelter in Texas. She asked officials how she could help the shelter’s children reach their parents on the phone, and what she could do to help reunite families. Refinery 29 reports that the First Lady of The United Staes told the detained children “Be kind and nice to other, okay?” and "Good Luck". If her message seemed tone deaf, her jacket spoke volumes. The $39 green cotton Zara jacket was emblazoned with the words “I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?”
