2016 Grammy Awards: The Music Industry's Worst Fashion Crimes


Not everyone can be a winner in the style department. While there were a lot of great looks at the 2016 Grammy Awards, there were a few fashion flops on the red carpet. It seemed celebrities like Demi Lovato, Zendaya, and Giuliana Rancic missed the mark with ill-fitting gowns and bad hair. Celebuzz says the 80's called Demi to get their shoulder pads back, and for someone who works on Fashion Police, Giuliana Rancic ought to know better than to wear something so terribly blah. And as for Zendaya? Press the snooze button, please.

    On Wednesday, Kanye West went on a rambling Twitter spree against the Grammys, an institution the rapper has said he considers culturally irrelevant and out of touch with black culture. A few of West's comments on Wednesday were directed at Neil Portnow, requesting a meeting with the Recording Academy president "so we can make Grammys culturally relevant again." West went on to say the Grammys voting system is "way off and completely out of touch," especially in regards to black music.

    One of the most anticipated performances of Monday night's Grammy Awards show was from British-singer Adele, whose whose new album, "25," has been shattering sales records. However, early into her live rendition of the ballad "All I Ask," it was clear that something was wrong. During the performance, a clanking sound could be heard in the background as she sang. The singer's microphone also cut out briefly and Adele's voice didn't have its usual punch. After the show, Recording Academy President Neil Portnow said that as the piano was being lifted onto the stage, a microphone in the piano dropped, which caused the audio glitches heard during the broadcast.
