'Jessica Jones' and 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D are both Marvel Netflix shows that take place in the same cinematic universe. So far, fans have only known this through small references placed in both shows, but the second season trailer for 'Jessica Jones' gives a pretty clear hint that there may be a crossover between the shows. In 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D'... it was... revealed that Coulson was brought back to life after undergoing a horrific [experiment.]" Fans have created their own theories from this connection.
