Olivia Munn Turned Down Deadpool Role

In a recent interview, actress Olivia Munn revealed that she turned down a lead role as Vanessa, in the super successful "Deadpool" to play Psylocke in the upcoming X-men: Apocalypse. Munn said she turned down the part because she didn't want to play 'the girlfriend character'. Instead opting for Psylocke, a role that has her playing a superhero and fighting like one too. Munn said; “I thought Psylocke was always one of the most lethal characters, and I said, ‘Yes, as long as you’re not using her to be the eye candy. She has really powerful abilities.” X-Men Apocalypse comes out May 27th.
