Frustrated travellers face hours-long queues at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport – but the airport has denied rumours of a security worker strike.
Long queues of cars form as thousands try to enter Poland from Ukraine in an effort to flee Russian military attacks. On the morning of Saturday 26 February 2022, there was a reported 46km queue to get through the border from Ukraine to Poland. IMAGES
Scares of conflicts in Ukraine have sent many Polish living close to the border to long queues at gas stations, fearing there will soon be a shortage.

After the departure hall at Brussels' Zaventem airport partly re-opened Sunday, 40 days after suicide attacks claimed by the Islamic State group which killed 32 people, people were still waiting in long lines outside the airport on Tuesday, due to increased security.
