The man on the right is Antonio Guterres, the former Prime Minister of Portugal and UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and he is set to replace Ban Ki Moon as the next Secretary General of the United Nations. 66-year-old Guterres worked as UN High Commissioner for Refugees over the past decade and dealt with the worst refugee crisis since the Second World War during his tenure. The official choice will be announced in a formal vote by the Security Council later on Thursday.
