'Mad Max,' '45 Years' Win Big in London Critics' Circle Film Awards

The U.K.'s film critics have spoken, naming Mad Max: Fury Road their title of 2015. George Miller's explosive reboot of his action franchise took the top honor at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards ceremony.The filmmaker was also named director of the year. Tom Hardy was named British/Irish actor of the year for his performances in Mad Max, London Road, the Revenant and Legend after being Snubbed by BAFTA in its nominations list two weeks ago.Andrew Haigh's 45 Years was named British/Irish film of the year. The tender marital drama's stars, Tom Courtenay and Charlotte Rampling, both took the top acting awards
