Nokia announced a blast from the past for audiences at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday by "re-introducing" an old favourite, the Nokia 3310. The phone was the world’s most popular device in the year 2000. The 2017 model has 22 hours talk-time, which is up to 10 times longer than the original model and up to one month of standby. The retro-styled electronic is priced at €49, or about $52.
Chinese luxury smartphone maker Gionee its new M2017 smartphone, a device which the company claims can sustain 32 hours of talk-time as well as 26 hours of non-stop video play on a single charge of its 7,000mAh polymer lithium-ion battery. The company released two versions of the same model: a standard version of 128GB costing 6,499 yuan, or $933, and a customized 256GB luxury version costing 16,999 yuan, or $2,440 US.

We learned earlier this month that iOS 9 will give your iPhone one extra hour of battery life, and a "Low Power Mode" will give you up to three more hours. In exchange for that extended battery life, though, your iPhone will throttle performance, according to testing done by MacRumors. The Apple-focused blog ran Geekbench 3, a benchmark test that measures a device's processor power, on an iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5S.
