Daredevil Star Charlie Cox: Marvel TV & Movies Are Different Things

Description

The second season of the Netflix Original Series "Daredevil" is set to explore darker terrain in Hell’s Kitchen, showing "the Man Without Fear" rekindling his steamy affair with old college squeeze turned ace assassin Elektra Natachios and facing off in a bitter rivalry with Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher. Actor Charlie Cox who plays Matt Murdock, the respected attorney turned rogue vigilante, said that while he would love to play the character in a feature film, it's not up to him. In a recent interview conducted by Entertainment Tonight regarding the delineation of power held by Marvel Studios and Marvel TV respectively, Cox claimed that while he may play Daredevil on the small screen, Matt Murdock could potentially be recast if he were to appear on the big screen in the near future. However the actor did declare that he would, “Pick a fight with the guy that they choose,” clarifying that the young actor is intent to continue playing Daredevil were he to make the transition from Netflix star to Marvel Studios contender. Provided the character does appear, it may be the much-anticipated "Avengers: Infinity War - Part I," scheduled to be released on May 4, 2018. "Daredevil" season 2 will debut on Netflix on March 18th, 2016.
