It's Primary Day In New York: What You Need To Know

Description

There are five candidates left in the presidential race. Three of the candidates have roots deep enough to claim the New Yorker title. Hillary Clinton is poised to win. The former secretary of state is a transplant from Chicago by way of Arkansas who has called New York home since leaving the White House. Bernie Sanders, the Vermont senator and challenger to Hillary Clinton, was born in Brooklyn and claims to also be a New Yorker. Sanders has managed to chip away at Clinton's lead. Every poll says Sanders is going to lose by double digits. But Sanders has almost guaranteed a victory. On the Republican side, Donald Trump, a Queens-born, Manhattan-made real estate developer whose gilded tower looms over Fifth Avenue, is set to crush rivals Ted Cruz and John Kasich.
