What's Fact And What's Fiction In 'BlackKklansman'

Spike lee has a new movie hitting theaters this weekend. The film is a black detective who infiltrated the KKK over the phone. He had a white officer play him in person. BlacKkKlansman is supposedly based on a true story. How much of Spike Lee's tale of and actually happened? According to Screen Rant, a surprisingly large amount. Some details, like the terror attack in Colorado Springs, were embellished. But most of the story in the film is true.
