Mark Rowley, Metropolitan Police's senior anti-terror officer, announced that six addresses were raided and seven people arrested in connection to yesterday’s Houses of Parliament attack, during an address to press outside New Scotland Yard on Thursday. A total of 4 people were killed and at least 29 injured when an attacker drove a car into a crowd of people on Westminster Bridge. The assailant then stabbed a police officer at the entrance to the Houses of Parliament before being shot dead by police.

London police say they have arrested a 22-year-old man after a seven-year-old girl was left fighting for her life following a shooting that took place as mourners left a church service. Gunshots rang out at the St Aloysius church in Euston, central London, on the afternoon of Saturday January 14 2023 as mourners were leaving a requiem mass for a mother and daughter. Images outside the Russian embassy in Bucharest where a man died after ramming his car into the gates of the building and setting himself on fire inside the vehicle.
