JD.com CEO To Skip Tech Forum After Sexual Assault Allegation

Description

The CEO of JD.com will no longer appear at a state-run tech forum in Shanghai this week. Richard Liu, who runs the Chinese commerce giant, was arrested back on August 31. He was booked by U.S. police in the state of Minnesota after an allegation of rape. According to Reuters, Liu has since denied any wrongdoing and returned to work in China.
