China Blocks US Navy Warship's Entry To Hong Kong Port


According to the Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post, China has refused to grant a US Navy warship permission to make a port call in Hong Kong, the local US consulate reported Tuesday. Business Insider reports that the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp carries the F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter. According to The Wall Street Journal it was expected to visit the former British colony next month. But Beijing has denied the US Navy's request.
