All trains, buses and trams were stopped and 400 flights from Schiphol were cancelled as a result of the region's strongest summer storm on record. The United States hails the EU-British deal to regulate trade rules for Northern Ireland as a chance to "improve the prosperity" across the region, John Kirby, National Security Council spokesman, tells reporters.
