Lea Thompson Pitched A 'Howard the Duck' Reboot To Marvel And They Loved It

Director Lea Thompson headlined the 1986’s live-action Marvel Comics adaptation of “Howard the Duck.” And now she is pitching a reboot of the film and said Marvel Studios “loved it.” Thompson said it would be “amazing” to bring back the duck with it having been the first Marvel movie. The director said she got help for the pitch from the “Howard the Duck” comic book creative team. Although Marvel loved the pitch, they said they did not have any plans “for these things.”
