After seeing warnings about it for over a year, Windows 10 users are now being told to ditch Adobe Flash once and for all. The multimedia software platform powered many pre-YouTube animated videos like Homestar Runner. But now, Gizmodo reports Adobe Flash is officially ancient technology. As of December 31, 2020, Adobe stopped supporting the software. Updating Windows 10 will only remove the Adobe Flash Player that was installed by your version of Windows—not if you installed it manually from elsewhere. Once the update is applied, Adobe Flash will be removed from the Control Panel. Windows 10 users will not be able to roll back the update. Users can also uninstall Flash via Adobe’s website.
According to a leaked file discovered in an upcoming preview update, a new feature may be arriving to to Windows 10, that will improve the performance of PC games. This “Game Mode” will reduce the amount of resources used by other applications and allocate the free space to the game to make it run faster. A Twitter user who goes by the name WalkingCat, discovered a DLL called "Game Mode" in the latest build for Windows 10.

Microsoft is going to great lengths to get users to upgrade to Windows 10. Their latest is giving away free laptops. The promotion works by going into a Microsoft store and letting one of the company's techs handle the upgrade process. Customers with computers running Microsoft 8 and which meet certian hardware requirments can drop it off their machines by noon and if the upgrade to Windows 10 i snot finished by the end of the day.by the end of the business day, customers will receive a free Dell’s Inspiron 15, worth $250.
In its pursuit to push out its newest operating system to as many consumers as possible, Microsoft has set the Windows 10 update on previous versions of Windows to "recommended" status.
