Hurricane Survivors In Hard-Hit Areas Grow Desperate For Food & Water

Description

According to a report by CNN, three days after Hurricane Michael tore a path of destruction across the Florida Panhandle, residents in some of the hardest-hit areas are growing desperate for food and water as rescue workers continue to search the rubble for people trapped or dead. On Saturday, Florida Governor Rick Scott tweeted that millions of meals and gallons of water are en route to the affected communities. CNN reports that the death toll from Michael has risen to at least 17, and nearly 900,000 customers remain without power in seven states.
