Mars Gufarov is visually impaired and takes care of his disabled guide-dog, Barry, the labrador. The dog was hit by a car and is now recovering following complicated surgery. Despite Mars needing a seeing eye dog, he doesn’t want to replace Barry and is doing everything possible to get his furry friend back on all four paws. Mars owes money to a vet clinic, where Barry's surgery was carried out, which is why activists have begun raising funds to pay for the rehabilitation. Fundraising could take one and a half years, according to the activists.
