Insomniac Announces 'Marvel's Spider-Man' New Game + Mode


According to a report by Comicbook.com, Playstation's Spider-Man is getting its first DLC drop next week, in addition to that, sometime before the DLC drops players will also get to try out New Game Plus. The studio behind the game, Insomniac, said, "Update 1.07 is one we’ve been working on for a while now, and adds New Game+ (NG+) as well as Ultimate Difficulty to the game. NG+ allows you to play the story and all activities in the open world again with all of your unlocked suits, skills, gadgets, mods, and benchmarks from the beginning." Updates will also include various other fixes, including highly anticipated Photo Mode adjustments.

    According to kotaku.com, a Spider-Man fan got to have his marriage proposal put into the new Spider Man video game. Unfortunately things didn’t quite work out for the fan. In May 2018, the fan, named Tyler Schultz sent a tweet to Insomniac Games, the studio behind Marvel’s Spider-Man, with a request to propose to his girlfriend in the video game. The gaming company agreed. The game finally released this week and the easter egg of “Madison, will you marry me?” is in the game on a theater marquee. Unfortunately, Schultz claims that his girlfriend broke up with him weeks prior to the release of the video game. Schultz posted on Youtube about the whole incident, and seems to have a sense of humor about it, claiming that “this might go down in history as the saddest easter egg”.
