European authorities say one of the internet’s largest forums for criminal activity has been seized and the man believed to be its operator has been arrested. Gizmodo reports DarkMarket boasted nearly half a million users and over 200,000 re-sellers. On it, they could digitally swap drugs, malware, stolen credit card data, and SIM cards, among other things. Law enforcement co-opted DarkMarket's infrastructure, confiscating over 20 servers in Ukraine and Moldova, where the operation was apparently located. However, officials have yet to reveal just who was arrested in connection with the darknet. They refer to the man only as a 34-year-old 'Australian national' who was apparently taken into custody by police somewhere near the German-Danish border.

Most people come to church to get food for their soul, but some Belgians in the small village of Brielen attend their local place of worship to get a different kind of spirit, enjoying beers on tap after mass. Churchgoers enjoy a few beers inside the house of worship following Sunday mass every week. The church transforms into a cafe-bar after Sunday service because of the village's lack of a public watering hole, after the last bar in the village of 700 people was forced to shut down. Locals can now grab a beer, tea or coffee for just €1 at the church after mass. However, there are a few catches. Drinking is allowed only for those who attend mass, playing music during the time when churchgoers enjoy beer is strictly forbidden and all attendees must leave the church premises at 1 PM sharp. Oddly enough, the local Priest decided that allowing his flock to grab a few drinks in the church would allow the faithful to get closer to God by helping them bond with each other, and the unorthodox practice actually serves to attract even more people to church.
Thousands of people have been evacuated from their homes in central California after heavy flooding caused by seven days of record amounts of rainfall and major storms. Ruptly received drone footage from Hollister, California from Thursday showing just how widespread and dangerous the effects of this unexpectedly huge amount of precipation have become. The rainfall comes amid a serious water crisis - the Golden State has experienced six straight years of drought, which have caused many acquifers and reservoirs to dry up across the state. However, despite warnings issued by the National Weather Service to residents saying that rivers will continue to overflow as ore rainfall is forecast for the coming days, this rare period of intense precipation may not significantly alleviate the water burden caused by the drought.
