US President Donald Trump says he is considering locations for a trade meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, with the heartland state of Iowa as a possibility. Hundreds of Bernie Sanders supporters gathered in Vermont Park, outside Philadelphia on Sunday, to hold a rally in support of the Senator just before the Democratic National Convention, despite the fact that Sanders has already endorsed Clinton. The crowd heard impassioned speeches from actors Susan Sarandon and Danny Glover, who backed Sanders throughout his ultimately unsuccessful bid for Democratic presidential nomination.
Thousands rallied in Philadelphia on Sunday in support of Senator Bernie Sanders just one day ahead of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) that is due to take place in the same city. Bernie supporters rallied for their candidate despite the fact that he has already endorsed Hillary Clinton as the democratic nominee for the general election, showing that some people are clearly not ready to give up hope.
