Elon Musk Says He'd Be Open To Working With Mercedez-Benz On Electric Van

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that his company might make an electric van and will reach out to Daimler, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz, about a possible collaboration. According to Business Insider, Musk said the collaboration might be on an electric version of the Mercedes Sprinter van. In a Twitter post, Musk said it's a "great van" and that Tesla "will inquire." In October, Daimler's CEO said that the automaker wouldn't rule out working with Tesla in the future even though the company sold its 4% stake in Tesla in 2014.
