A car arrived on the market in 1972 that signalled a turning point in the world of mobility. It was the SEAT 127. With more than 1.3 million units sold, it became the brand’s all-time best-seller until the arrival of the SEAT Ibiza, which, after five generations, still holds the title with more than 6 million units sold. Today, a half century after the launch of the 127, these two vehicles, benchmarks in their respective eras in terms of technology, design and safety, hit the road together for the first time.

There’s no end to the number of landscapes you can travel through on a motorbike, nor to their diversity depending on the climate, weather or road conditions. That’s why, to ensure the best possible performance of the SEAT MÓ 125 100% electric scooter, the SEAT MÓ Quality and R&D team put it to the test in two opposing landscapes, the mountains of Baqueira Beret (Lleida) and the Tabernas Desert (Almería), in Spain, with a temperature difference of 55ºC between them, covering a total of 4,400 kilometres.

Her name has been given to a pilot project for an autonomous car pioneered by SEAT S.A. engineers in collaboration with the Automotive Technology Centre of Galicia (Centro Tecnolóxico de Automoción de Galicia, CTAG). Innova platform, a space that promotes continuous innovation in all areas of the company, fostering new ways of working based on co-creation and the start-up model.
The SEAT Ibiza is the brand’s best-selling vehicle and has paved the way for SEAT’s enormous success as it works towards growing its position as a global company, delivering vehicles to markets across the world.Since its introduction in 1984 the SEAT Ibiza has sold nearly six million units across all generations, and the latest generation is set to continue the huge success of the urban car.The new SEAT Ibiza combines a refreshed exterior design that enhances its look by incorporating features such as 100% LED headlamps technology as standard and a range of new alloy wheels designs. Smaller, more subtle additions such as the model’s name finished in handwritten lettering and a two-tone chrome finished SEAT logo add to the delicate improvements.Inside a revolution has happened. A completely new soft dashboard that houses a larger, floating central infotainment system signifies the shift to a digital approach, putting the SEAT Ibiza more in-sync with the world around it. Control is more tangible thanks to the new ergonomically designed multifunction Nappa steering wheel, while the quality of the fit and finish is now even more apparent, highlighted most obviously by the integration of the newly designed air vents, illuminated using the latest lighting technology.
