Feds Investigate If Jussie Smollett Sent Threatening Letter To Himself

The FBI and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service are investigating Jussie Smollett, says SFGate.com. The feds say he may have played a role in the threatening letter sent to the “Empire” studio on Jan. 22. This was seven days before the actor reported an assault by two individuals in his Chicago neighborhood. The USPIS confirmed that the agency was assisting the FBI in investigating the letter. They declined to comment any further on the nature of the investigation, the agency is on call to assist the FBI.
