There's a myth floating around that if you are lactose intolerant, you shouldn't eat cheese. And according to Business Insider, it's a pretty dangerous myth. That's because nutritionists say skipping out on any food group can cause you to miss out on certain critical nutrients. Not all dairy products contain high amounts of lactose. In fact, people who are lactose intolerant actually tend to do quite well with cheese--especially hard cheeses. However, the soft cheeses do tend to have a little bit more lactose in them, so opt for parmesan over brie.
From white-linen tablecloth restaurants to a local burger joint, potatoes for food service make up an estimated 55% of all potato crops sold in the US. But according to Business Insider, American farmers are now stuck with billions of pounds of potatoes they can't sell--or easily dispose of. The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the closure of hundreds of thousands of restaurants and other cooked food outlets. That meant potato orders to farmers virtually stopped, leading farms across the country with piles of rotting produce. In Idaho, for example, the going rate for a sack of potatoes has gone from $12 to $3--and it takes a rate of at least $5 a sack for most farmers to break even. All in all, an estimated 1.5 billion pounds of potatoes are trapped in the supply chain across the US.
For the tens of millions who have lost their jobs in the wake of the pandemic, life at home has also changed dramatically for millions of Americans. According to Business Insider contributor Rebecca Chamaa, there are ways to keep your grocery bill under control, even if eating out is no longer an option. First, start with shopping by list, not by impulse. Plan your meals and shop accordingly. Pick recipes that use what you've already got. Become a big fan of leftovers. Freeze excess portions, and dub one night a week 'Leftover Buffet.' Finally, check expiration dates. Make soup stock from vegetables before they go off. Buy foods just about to go off from the bargain rack, and use immediately.

A 2,282kg (5,030 lb) plate of tortilla chips, spiced up with lotte cheese, minced meat, vegetables and salsa sauce was served up to locals. 200 portions were donated to a local homeless charity.
Chrissy Teigen's daughter Luna loves to munch on fried ribs cooked by her mother, and would rather eat a second helping of pasta than anything sweet.
