Oscars Draws In 30 Million Viewers Without Host

According to SF Gate, the 2019 Academy Awards was a success for ratings. The Oscars show without a host drew in almost 30 million viewers, which is up 12-percent compared to last year. The Nielsen Company's stats tallied a total of 29.6 million viewers for the award show. Across the metered markets, the 2019 Oscars audience rose by an average of 3.1 million total viewers. In the ratings, the 2019 Oscars pulled a 7.7 for the 18-to-49 demographic, which is up 13-percent compared to the year before.
