There's a myth floating around that if you are lactose intolerant, you shouldn't eat cheese. And according to Business Insider, it's a pretty dangerous myth. That's because nutritionists say skipping out on any food group can cause you to miss out on certain critical nutrients. Not all dairy products contain high amounts of lactose. In fact, people who are lactose intolerant actually tend to do quite well with cheese--especially hard cheeses.
