Wall Street Climbs Higher In Hopes Of A Trade Deal

Description

According to Reuters, U.S. stocks climbed on Monday, bolstered by technology and industrial companies. The rise comes after President Trump said he would delay a planned hike in tariffs on Chinese imports and that he was “very, very close” on a trade deal. Trump's move to push the deadline indicates that the two countries are approaching a deal to end their prolonged trade dispute, which has slowed global growth and disrupted markets.
