Hu Xiaoxia the snake breeder produces snake wine, which locals use to make medicinal liquor. Cobra skin is also considered a heat-clearing medicine in traditional Chinese medicine. She has risked her skin every time she stepped into the room with these cold-blooded reptiles for the past 3 years, but that's why they call her the Cobra Queen.
This 30,000 square-foot building is Shanghai's new Starbucks Reserve Roastery, the largest Starbucks in the world. Seattle-based Starbucks opened the doors to its biggest ever shop in Shanghai on Wednesday, which features three brew bars, augmented reality tech, lavish design, and coffee, lots of coffee. The spacious 'reserve roastery,' which can serve up to 7,000 customers a day and up to 1,000 people at one time, is the second of its type in the world, after Starbucks opened its first version in Seattle in 2014.
One of the world's longest over-water bridges is finally nearing completion after nearly a decade of construction. The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge is set to connect Hong Kong with Macau and Zhuhai, three major cities on the Pearl River Delta in China. The crossing consists of three cable-stayed bridges and one undersea tunnel. The construction formally began in 2009 and is due to be completed in December 2017, opening to traffic in 2018. Over 400,000 tons of steel was used to buid the project, about 60 times the amount used to build the Eiffel Tower.
A new cargo train will connect Italy and China directly, and the first service departed from the northern Italian city of Mortara on Tuesday, bound for China's Chengdu. The 11,000-killometer, or 6,800 mile, route stretches across the territories of Poland, Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan before crossing all of Western China to arrive in Chengdu. The trip takes around 18 days, almost 20 days less than shipping the cargo by sea. The train consists of 17 coaches and 34 containers which can carry equipment, electronics, furniture, and cars.

The production is done under extreme supervision as scientists control every step of the process. Chinese hemp production has slowly but surely grown to account for over half of the world's legal output. The Asian giant produces and processes about 44,000 tons of legal hemp products annually, more than any other country.
A next generation long-haul, wide-body commercial aircraft developed by Chinese and Russian engineers was officially named during a ceremony at the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, or COMAC, headquarters in Shanghai on Friday. The new aircraft, which is expected to compete for orders with major global players Boeing and Airbus, was dubbed the 'CR 929' family of jets, with 'CR' signifying the initials of the manufacturing countries.
