Which Politicians Are Likely To Run In 2020?

With the midterm elections over, speculation has already turned to who is likely to make a presidential bid in 2020. Business Insider reports the field of potential Democratic candidates is crowded. No Republican has emerged so far as likely to challenge President Donald Trump. Who are the most likely Presidential Candidates? Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has already announced she's launching an exploratory committee for President. Joe Biden fueled speculation in December , saying that he believes he is "the most qualified person in the country to be president." Vermont senator Bernie Sanders, who was the runner up to the Democratic nomination in 2016. Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke is a national Democratic star, frequently compared to JFK and Barack Obama. California Senator Kamala Harris has also been visiting states which hold their nominating contests early. NJ Senator Cory Booker has placed staff on the ground in Iowa, the Guardian reported. Julian Castro campaigned for Democrats across the country in the midterms.
