Iran Calls U.S. Military Presence In Syria An Illogical Mistake And Source Of Tension

According to a report by Reuters, Iran called the United States' military presence in Syria an error and a source of conflict, in Tehran's first public reaction to President Donald Trump's planned withdrawal. On Saturday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on state media, "From the start, the entry and presence of American forces in the region has been a mistake, illogical and a source of tension, and a main cause of instability.
