SpaceX Launched Its First U.S. Security Space Mission

Description

SpaceX on Sunday launched a rocket carrying a U.S. military navigation satellite from Florida’s Cape Canaveral. Reuters reports the launch marks the company’s first national security space mission for the United States. It has been trying to break into the market of military space launches for years. The Falcon 9 rocket carried a $500 million GPS satellite built by Lockheed Martin Corp.
