Christie’s NYC Sells $69 Million Worth Of Jewels In One Day

According to Business Insider, Christie's Auction House in New York City sold $69.2 million worth of precious jewels in a single night. The auction was held earlier this month on December 5. Last year at an auction around the same time in December, Christie's sold $62.5 million of jewelry, and $51.2 million before that in 2016. Daphne Lingon, Head of Jewelry, Christie's Americas said of this year's success, "The excitement and prices achieved in our New York sale marks a perfect ending to our successful year of global jewelry auctions."

They were joined by Kjell Gruner, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), and key members of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur’s Sonderwunsch team including Alexander Fabig and Boris Apenbrink.
