CIA Chief In Turkey To Hear Grisly Recordings Of Journalist's Death

CIA Director Gina Haspel is in Turkey to investigate the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Reuters reports Haspel has sought to hear a purported audio recording of his torture and murder. U.S. President Donald Trump asked Turkey to share evidence it had collected. Khashoggi was a U.S. resident, Washington Post columnist, and critic of the Saudi Crown Prince. Saudi Arabia said on Saturday that Khashoggi died inside its Istanbul consulate after a fight.
