Typhoon Yutu Hurtles Towards Guam

Description

Typhoon Yutu is forecast to become a Category 5 super typhoon by Wednesday. Gizmodo's Earther reports Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands lie squarely in Yutu's path. As of the latest Joint Typhoon Warning Center bulletin, Yutu has estimated winds of 127 mph. With nothing but warm water in its path, Yutu is expected to continuing amping up. Winds could reach 155 mph as it approaches Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands on Thursday.
