Facebook Discovers An Iranian Influence Campaign Followed By Over 1 Million Users

Description

According to a report by Business Insider, Facebook has detected a coordinated Iranian influence campaign that has created pages and groups followed by over 1 million accounts on the social network. On Friday, the social network said that it had taken down 30 pages, 33 accounts, and 3 groups on Facebook that were tied to the campaign, which it described as 'inauthentic behavior.
